Interview types

Nail the first round before it happens.

The first call decides whether you get a second one. Practise the questions recruiters and hiring managers open with, and get honest feedback on how you come across in the first ten minutes.

What you'll practise

Built around your resume and the job.

  • Walking through your resume in two minutes
  • Why this company and why this role
  • Salary, notice period and logistics answers
  • Short, confident answers that invite a follow-up

Sample questions

  1. Q1Walk me through your background.
  2. Q2Why are you looking to leave your current role?
  3. Q3What do you know about this team?
  4. Q4What are you looking for in your next position?
  5. Q5Do you have any questions for me?

Your interview adapts these to your resume, the job and your answers.

  3. 3

    Get your report

Scores by skill, strengths, focus areas and a model answer for every question.

Questions

Good to know.

Is my free interview long enough for a screen?

Yes. The free interview runs for up to 10 minutes, about the length of a recruiter screen.

Can I keep it short?

Add a custom instruction like “keep it short, it's a phone screen” and the interviewer adjusts.

Do I need a camera?

No. The camera preview is optional and never leaves your device.
